I often feel like people disapprove of my firedancer. It could just be that I’m crazy, but I feel like a lot of people see it and if they know what it is they think “how could somebody love a band that much?” but that’s not what it is for me. My firedancer represents so much love and a community of people who connect on a deeper level through music. A community that cares for each other. It represents family and connectedness, it reminds me that I am apart of a bigger concept. So, to somebody who doesn’t get it, it might seem ridiculous. To a family member, it’s a sign of safety and warmth.
That’s why I love my firedancer.
